York is located in the heart of the Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area (GTHA), just a subway ride away from downtown Toronto or uptown Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. With two subway stations on campus, as well as a network of buses, GO Transit and light rail transit, students can easily explore the GTHA’s diverse neighbourhoods, many green spaces and parks, popular sporting events and concerts, and renowned cultural attractions. We’re an open and inclusive community.
Keele Campus
Our Keele campus is a self-contained community with walking paths, a pond, woodlots and 90+ buildings including academic and athletic facilities, residences, student service locations and 40+ restaurants and shops.
Glendon Campus
The Glendon campus, located in midtown Toronto, is the Centre of Excellence for French-language & Bilingual Postsecondary Education in Southern Ontario. Glendon is known for its beautiful rose gardens and connections to the Global Francophone community. Fluency in French prior to arrival is not required.
Get Involved in a Community of Changemakers
Whether you live on the Keele or Glendon campus or commute, York’s college system and extracurricular programs help you find community, maintain health and wellness, and develop leadership skills.
Our colleges are a place to study, attend social activities, get academic help, work and volunteer. They help make a big university feel small. Once you accept your offer of admission, you’ll be placed with one of nine Colleges based on your academic program.
Your college provides opportunities to get involved in student government and sports teams, produce publications, lead clubs, connect with your Faculty, access academic and career supports, and make new friends
